SIDE BY SIDE NATIONALS GROWING IN POPULARITY

LAKE ELSINORE, Ca., April 20th 2008. The 3rd round of the Side by Side(SXS) Nationals went down on April 19th and 20th at the Kal-Gard Motorsports Complex (formerly The Lake Elsinore MX Park). The event has been growing ever since the first round in February. The relatively new series already boasts over 100 racers, and attracts 2500 people to each event.

"I'm amazed at how fast we're growing, it just goes to show how fast the Side By Side industry is getting attention," says Travis Siflinger, one of the event's organizers.

The series includes other vehicles besides Side by Sides as well. For the first time, 1450 Short Course Trucks, Mini Trucks, and Pro Trucks all ran at the event. Of course the Trophy Karts, Super-karts, and Superlite class trucks from the first 2 rounds also raced at the event. The series is constantly having new attractions added to broaden their already large appeal.

This was the first event that lasted two full days, but people seemed to be into it. The lot was packed with RV's camping out for both events, and the second day had about as many people as the first. The event packs a lot of action into such a small package.

"I was really suprised when I got out here, it's like a little mini CORR," is how Ron Nava from RPM TV described it.

Even some major stars were represented at the last event. Skin Industry's Al Borda had his FPO Superlite there and MX star Brian Deegan showed up. Brian Deegan was even talked into riding along in one of the Superlites during the demo at one of the events.

The series has 5 more events planned, all taking place at the Kal-Gard Motorsports Complex. The schedule is as follows:

Round 4: May 10th
Round 5: June 14th
Round 6: July 12th
Round 7: August 9th
Round 8: September 6th

Make sure to clear your calendar for at least one of the dates to experience one of the major off-road attractions in Southern California.
