This is my first winter season with my 08 Rhino. Ive been out about 4 times and Im hooked. Already put about 10K into the darn thing. Im going to be storing my toyhauler and Rhino in Ocotillo Wells for the winter so I'll be heading out there about twice a month if anyone wants to hook up for some fun rides, I know the area pretty well.

Took RZR to Fox Racing this past Monday, Nov 17, 2008.
ORW work out this meeting, We arrived about 3:00 p.m. and Ross took over, (Ross does all the spec's for the shocks) the service work shop has all the diffrent type of shocks that you only dream of ;-)

We unloaded the RZR, took it into the shop and place it on top of 4 scales
Ross took the weight down of each tire point load ;-)

He them took mesurements of all the 4 corners of the skid plate and shocks extesion as it stands ;-)

Then he put the RZR on a car type lift, he raise the RZR and took mesurements of the full extesion of the shocks ;-)

They removed all the Fabtech shocks and took mesurements of the eye bolts of the shock connections at full extension and then lowered the RZR down as low as they felt it needed to drop and took mesurements at full compession ;-)

He then took one of Fabtech rear shocks and took it apart (this is where it gets good) the sping rateing for the rear Fabtech shock =200#, that is to soft of a sping for the rear shock according to Ross, rear springs need to be around 300# (now I know thats why I was having that much problems) ;-)

The other thing Ross look at was that Fabtech cut my rear shcok bunp stop and that why my tires hit the fender of my RZR ;-)

Fox Racing is going to make custom shocks for my RZR and I is happy as can be ;-) ;-) ;-)

They put the RZR back together, in two week time, new coustom Fox Racing Shocks we be home ;-)

Have a '07 Ranger 700XP and have quite a few hours and miles at this point. Did the UTV Rally in Moab in '07 and a 1000 miles in Wyoming that year also. Have a few mods, fully enclosed bed and cab, two sets of off road lights, plus back up light, 27" Bighorns on polished ITP wheels, radio console w/ XM radio, warn 4k winch, two batteries with an alternator and a automotive volt meter, turn signals, lift kit(my own), abs plastic wheel wells and some clutch mods. I enjoy making and designing things for the Ranger and most of the things I've done are my own designs. Love riding in the Western part of the U.S. especially Utah and Wyoming. Looking forward to visiting more of the West as soon as I can sell the house and hit the road in the RV. Been around a few years in Drag Racing, been retired since 2003.
