i couldve bought any brand utv. i went to the yamaha dealer and got their rhino dvd which has comparisons between their competition- it was very enlightening! do yourself a favor and get that dvd to better educate yourself, as well as go to all the dealerships and check them ALL out. imo, the rhino was best for all-around versatility.

the biggest influence is what you'll be using it for... if you just want all-out speed, get the razor, but it would be one of my last choices for trailriding after having educated myself.

its clutching, lack of engine braking, on-demand 4wd system sux for mudding or any anticipated 4wd need (basically it waits until tires are slipping before it engages, where on the rhino you can lock it in so you dont loose traction to begin with... can you imagine rock crawling w/ the rzr?) to name just a few. like i said, go to all the dealers and inform yourself on ALL of them the best you can... that yamaha rhino comparison dvd is free, so go check it out.

are you kidding me? check youtube to see the "not too many people" rockcrawling with their sxs... ..

the only thing the rzr is the BEST at is running wide open in the dunes or any other place that doesnt have rugged terrain... the last i heard canada doesnt have dunes. it has no engine braking (not really good for any decents down hills), and the clutching is set-up for higher rpm's (how is that good for techincal and rugged terrain?). their 4wd system is not good at all since you cant even decide when you want to engage 4wd before your wheels start spinning. go on rzr specific forum sites and you see all the probs people are having with them. if these arent valid concerns for you, i dont know what else to say.

i dont know who the "most people" are you're talking about who say the rzr is the best (i'm guessing the people who run them in the dunes and havent seen mud or much technical and gnarly terrain with them), i was just trying to help educate ya, i guess you wont be picking up the comparo dvd then. good luck.

razors are great for rock krawling, ar good as enything out there. and engine braking also has a downside. you have to stay on the throttle all the time even when you want to go slow. Yamahas are great ask most people who have one and they will agree. educating yourself is only good if your getting all the info.
