Breakin Axles.....again

Got the cat back on friday and broke again on Sat. Artic Cat covered the rear axle, albeit with there junky ass sh_t. Put Gorillas up front and i'll be damned if we didin't break the inner cv on the rear. it just so happened to be the only one I haven't had any trouble with. What makes me so dam madd is that I was under very minimal throttle when this happened. Thankfully I had 4 rangers to entertain while tryin to get out . They all had a big laugh as u can imagine. 5th cv/axle in less than a month. No probs with the rangers and they are covering the same terrain as i am. Guess its Gorillas for the rear. If I break them, there very well could be an '08 prowler for sale as a parade vehicle. I dam sure wouldn't hold up 4 anything else. boy it feels good to vent a little.

I've never been to the dunes, but my assumption would be that it would be hard to break axles in sand. Our trails are very rarely at much more than idle through some very technical stuff. A little mud, a few rocks, some steep hills, (some close to vertical). We do have a areas where we can gas on it, but the rocks and creeks are where the action is.

I figured you would have more trouble. A chain is only as strong as the weakest link, just like your axles. You should have seen it coming. Learn how to drive!

We do big rocks, big steep hills and no problems with the Ranger or RZR ;-)

if you make one thing stronger, you just move the problem. from axles to hub and so on.
I race a RZR and have been through the same problems, i know run a +6 from dragon fire with 300m axles, i still need billit hubs only weak link left that i can fix. you will find that the front diff is the next place you will start having problems.
give dragon fire acall the stock shit wont last.

Well Codog you're right on. Dunefreak doesn't know me at all. I'll bet that soapbox he's standing on was loaned to him fromhis wife. Sounds as if he's been scolded a time or 2 to me? As long as they print money I'll be fine.
