just look at the april issue of sidexside magazine the new Rhino got sport utility vehcle of the year out dueling the Artic Cat number one difference Rhino got 5 stars out of 5 stars on safety and the Cat only got 2 stars article says it feels top heavy and seats are elevated to high , great acceleration but with safety issues they wanted to tone down their speed with it.

That seems silly to me since Yamaha is getting sued right and left over the instability of the Rhino. They even had to retrofit those useless plastic doors. The Prowler may "feel" tippy, because you sit higher, but I don't think it is at all. I have never had my Prowler on its side, and I have helped tip back over many Rhino's...................

I HAVE BEEN IN SOME PRETY HAIRY SPOTS WITH MY RHINO & IT HAS NEVER FELT TIPPY & IT HAS NEVER BEEN ON IT'S SIDE, ROOF OR OTHER PART IT WASN'T DESIGNED TO BE ON. I THINK PART OF THE PROBLEM WITH THE CAT IS THE UGLY A** ROLLCAGE. BY THE WAY THOSE CHEAP A** PLASTIC DOORS WORK PRETTY DARN WELL & ALL OF THE LAWSUITS ARE BECAUSE STUPID PEOPLE DO STUPID THINGS & WON'T TAKE RESPONSIBLITY FOR THEIR OWN STUPID ACTIONS. OKAY I WILL STEP DOWN FROM MY SOAP BOX NOW. WE ALL HAVE OUR LIKES & DISLIKES THAT IS WHY THERE ARE DIFFERENT FLAVORS OF ICE CREAM.

this is not the only magazine that says this. I also have a rhino and have never even came close to tipping it and i run it pretty hard. also that isnt the only article that i have read that states this.

One of the things that i dont agree with about the article is the fact that the rhino gets a 5 star safety rating and they give the Tomcar a 4 star on safety. A rhino has a bolt on safety cage where a Tomcar has a fully intergraded roll cage built as part of the frame. Tomcar corporate thru a Tm-27 down a 300 ft cliff for a up coming TV pilot. and all that happened was the frame kicked over about 6 inches and blew out a shock and broke a tierod. all total about $2000 worth of damange.

I Don't Think Tomcars Should Be Counted In The Test. They Are Not 4x4, So If They Were Included Why Not Golfcarts Or Buggies Such As Joyners?
