I'm a little confuse with the term Cereal box. Can you explain further. It looks good from this pic.

I Think The Cereal Box Is A Plastic Container For Storing Cereal. This Would Keep The Back Part Of The Unit Clear From Dirt & Make For A Better Mounting Point. Just My 2 Cents.

I run a 200 watt Kicker amp with Wake board boat speakers and an Ipod . It's easy and plenty loud. It's held up al season. Tried a few other things first but this seems to work the best.

Do you mean that the ipod connects to the AMP via some wireless connection and it's played that way. So if I wanted to do this would it work this way. I have a small MP3 player could I purchase an AMP and some speakers and play it dirrectly.
That's what I do. Just make sure the amp has the right inputs.
