The Fab School Is Now Accepting the G.I. Bill

Riverside, CA March 21, 2008 – The Fab School is now approved to accept the Montgomery G.I. Bill. The G.I. Bill provides education benefits to eligible veterans. Once qualified, veterans receive a monthly stipend to assist them in acquiring beneficial educational training.

There are many different categories of veterans that can apply for and receive G.I. Bill funds. The level of funding and benefits depends on which category the veteran falls in. In order to determine eligibility, veterans must first apply for benefits. Interested veterans should contact their respective Veterans Affairs (VA) representatives. VA representatives have all of the pertinent information and applications for G.I. Bill benefits. The Department of Veterans Affairs website also has extensive information regarding benefits and ways to apply for eligibility.

This opportunity allows for more alternative methods of funding to students and potential students. The automotive fabrication industry needs qualified people to fill the number of jobs available. By providing education benefits to veterans, the G.I. Bill will help fill the gap of qualified employees in the industry.

The Fab School teaches the art of automotive fabrication and offers three different class levels: Introduction to Fabrication, Intermediate Fabrication, and Advanced Fabrication. Each class covers a variety of topics including: Tube Notching, Tube Bending, Tube Cutting, Pattern Design, Chassis Design, Suspension, Sheet Metal, Race Prep, Welding, Chassis Build Up, and Shock Re-Build. Students are given the opportunity to excel in any area they desire while completing both individual and group projects. The school teaches students how to build off-road vehicles from the ground up. Techniques learned at the school are not exclusive to working in the off-road industry and can be applied to a variety of career paths.

“Get your Experience from the Experienced!”
