How could this be street legal. I have never herd of such thing can you explain further?

I'd like to know how you got street plates also. What is dual registration?

Dual means that you keep the off road registration and you also have street plates.
This also means that you have to pay DMV fees for two Registrations.
One fee is for the Off Road Sticker and the other is for the street plates. In my case I have it registered also as a Golf Cart. I can drive it around my place of residence (The RV it’s also a place of residence).

How did you convince them it was a gold cart?

It is a slow moving vehicle. Plus I install all the safety equipment (mirrors, signal lights, horn, etc.)
I also had all the necessary inspections done to prove of the changes done to the Ranger.
